I have been shooting weddings for over 12 years now but I had never shot a wedding at Clonabreany House.
In fact I was beginning to feel a bit self conscious about it! However Catriona and Sean’s big bash of a wedding gave me an opportunity to see what it was really like and I was not disappointed. Not one little bit.
There’s a lovely feel to the place. On grounds that stretch across a country road, Clonabreany House sits perched up on a little hill with 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside. What was not to like! Of course it helped that the wedding occurred on perhaps one of the hottest days of the year. One of those sneaky hot summery days that tantalise you for a few days before the wedding day. One of those days that have you thinking what jammy doughnuts Sean and Catriona were.
I hadn’t met either Sean or Catriona before the wedding. This happens from time to time but it’s always nice to put faces to names and slowly absorb myself into the story-telling. And I was made feel very welcome. Thank you.
