Marlfield House Wedding – Miranda + James

Everyone should have a red Mercedes coupe. I mean what better vehicle is there to sweep you away to your wedding reception? Whilst it may have been a 1979 CLK, James and Miranda were fairly able to put the boot down and so we whizzed down the N11 to Marlfield House for the wedding reception.

What an elegant venue Marlfield House is which is just as well because we had elegance in spades. The good weather prevailed and guests spilled out the back for drinks.
Take a peek at some of the details and suppliers that helped Miranda and James’ day look amazing.
- Miranda’s dress, a bias cut, sleaky silk ivory design by Sharon Hoey called “Amy”.
- Miranda’s (lynette) headpiece with matching bracelet was from Jules jewellery– an Irish designer.
- Miranda’s shoes gold Jimmy Choo kitten heels.
- Bridesmaids’ dresses were salmon coloured from Town Bride.
- The flower girls had gyp headpieces with the bridesmaids having gyp bouquets.
- The flowers were designed by Carol Horan. Miranda’s bouquet was a mixture of flowers and foliage and and some herbs… Some of which came from her garden which Miranda’s Dad would have planted.
- The car was a CLK Mercedes coupe 1979.
- Make up by Adele Miley.
- James’ suit was a Canalli.
- The cake was a ” naked” design – made by Caroline Goulding. It was decorated with fresh berries and had 3 tiers- maple and pecan, rhubarb and ginger and elderflower and gooseberry.
